First announcement
The Eumycetoma Working Group was established in 2007 under the formal umbrella of the ISHAM. The aim of this working group is to establish a worldwide network of medical and scientists interested in various aspects of eumycetoma. In this way, joined research can be initiated between members of our group. In order to inform each other of our research aims and goals a small meeting was held during the ISHAM conference in Tokyo in 2009. Since then, new findings have been made and multiple papers have been published. It is therefore time to organize a second meeting.
In this second meeting, we will invite many renowned international speakers who will highlight their findings in the mycetoma field. In order to reach out to as many scientists working in mycetoma as possible, we decided to organize this meeting in collaboration with the Fifth International Conference on Mycetoma, which will organized by the Mycetoma Research Centre, University of Khartoum in the period 1-5 April 2011 in Khartoum, Sudan.
